While roads were often built along valley bottoms, shepherds chose ridge paths to lead their flocks to the pastures.
Warning: due to a path collapse between "Nojaret" and "Les Sognes", a detour has been set up from "Nojaret". Follow the instructions on the sign.

This large loop offers breathtaking views of Mont Lozère, the Vivarais mountains, the Rhône Valley, and Mont Ventoux.
Adapt your equipment to the day’s weather conditions. Remember that the weather changes quickly in the mountains. Be sure to bring enough water, good shoes, and a hat.
