Hiking - MAZAN - The Three Chapels
Discovering chapels from all eras.
“Another time, another story. I felt transported from one era to another as I discovered these different chapels and their memories.” Laurence Veillard, Education and Culture Project Manager at the Mont Ventoux Regional Natural Park.
- HUNTING: during hunting season, I wear brightly coloured clothing, I make my presence clearly known and I respect the signs put in place by hunters.
- GRAZING AREA: in the presence of livestock guardian dogs that come to meet me, I do not pet or threaten them. I stop, then I patiently wait for their 'inspection' to finish before calmly resuming my way, skirting around the flock as much as possible. It is preferable not to bring your dog; if you do, keep it on a leash. As a reminder, review the correct way to behave around livestock guardian dogs.
- FIRE RISK: fire is the enemy of the forest… and the hiker! I do not smoke or light fires in the forest, especially as it is forbidden all year round! And during the summer, before setting out, I check the access conditions and regulations for forest areas.
