Hiking - The Remarkable Larch of Bramousse - Guillestre
A larch with an impressive trunk, over 400 years old!
A unique route connecting the village to the alpine chalets, allowing you to discover a natural curiosity: a remarkable larch.
From the village of Bramousse, take the dirt road that goes up on the right at the designated parking area. Follow this track to a hairpin bend where you'll meet the GR 58 trail (marked in red and white), which leads to the foot of the Bramousse alpine chalets. Until the 1950s, the inhabitants of Bramousse would head up here from June to September.
From the chalets, a path (marked in yellow) on your right allows you to make a short loop to see the larch, which is remarkable for its trunk and age. From the chalets, return via the same route.
