Hiking - MOLINES - Rouchas Frach Canal

Geological curiosities, built heritage, artworks… to discover with the family on a panoramic trail in the Aigue Agnelle Valley.

The Rouchas Frach canal ("broken rock" in Occitan) is among the oldest in Queyras (7 centuries old). Today it presents remains of remarkable beauty.
“Discover with the Rouchas Frach canal the remains of the work and ingenuity of the men of these high Alpine valleys, for the aesthetic and human values they represent.” J.Cl. Bonnuit
At the same time, admire along this hike the artistic work of the canal created by artist Aggelos (Michel Yves HUET).

Every Thursday in July and August, guided tours are offered by volunteers from the association “Les Fountgillencs”.
