Hiking - MOLLANS-SUR-OUVEZE - Baume des Eyguiers

"By traversing the villages of Mollans-sur-Ouvèze and Pierrelongue, you'll discover a truly exceptional historical cultural heritage. The natural heritage is also remarkable, with the Baume des Eyguiers and the various panoramic views offered by the summit of Roche d’Oie. On sunny days, it's possible to observe the north face of Mont-Ventoux. During the descent towards Pierrelongue, I even had the chance to spot a doe." • After points 1, 4 and 5: crossing a departmental road, caution!


• After point 2: narrow passage.


• After point 3: fairly steep descent in two places.


• RESPECT THE TRANQUILITY of the area you are walking through, avoid shouting and do not use sound instruments or devices (radio, etc.), out of respect for other users but also for the peace of wildlife, especially during breeding and wintering periods when animals are much more vulnerable. 


• Avoid picking wild plants: some of them are protected.


• The path passes near cultivated fields which are private property, please do not pick anything from the fields (lavender, fruit, etc.).


• Part of the route is highly exposed to the sun, take the necessary equipment (water, cap, sunscreen, etc.) for hot summer days. Prefer an early morning start to avoid the hottest hours of the day.


• FIRE RISK. Fire is the enemy of the forest… and the hiker! Do not smoke in the forest and do not light any fires, especially since it is forbidden regardless of the season! And during the summer period, before setting off, inquire about the conditions and regulations for access to forest areas.
