Walking - Mont-Dauphin Fortress and Eygliers Main Village
A magnificent family loop to discover the exceptional heritage of the Mont-Dauphin fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site!
Walk through the forest to the foot of the first fortifications, and take the time to visit the Fortified Town and its intramural village, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will then discover the village of Eygliers, which overlooks the confluence of the Guil and Durance rivers. You will descend via the marmot trail, which will allow you to observe these small whistling mammals up close.
Please respect the facilities, stay on marked trails, and do not feed the marmots. You are on a Natura 2000 site with a fragile environment.
