A family-friendly hike starting in Montbrun-les-Bains, combining historical heritage and panoramic views of the Giant of Provence.

''This hike invites you to truly discover the old village of Montbrun-les-Bains, winding through cobbled streets and historic buildings before immersing yourself in the rolling countryside of the surrounding area, which also bears witness to history. • RESPECT THE PEACE AND QUIET of the area you are walking through; avoid shouting and do not use instruments or sound devices (radio, etc.), out of respect for other users but also for the tranquility of the wildlife, especially during breeding and wintering periods when animals are much more vulnerable. 


• Avoid picking wild plants: some of them are protected.


• Part of the route is highly exposed to the sun; bring the necessary equipment (water, cap, sunscreen, ...) for hot summer days. Prefer an early morning start to avoid the hottest hours of the day.


• CAUTION: PASTORAL AREA ahead: if you encounter guard dogs coming towards you, do not pet or threaten them. Stop, then wait patiently for the "inspection" to finish before calmly continuing your way, skirting the flock as much as possible. Preferably, do not bring your dog, and if you do, keep it on a leash. Remember to close gates securely behind you.


• FIRE RISK. Fire is the enemy of the forest… and of hikers! Do not smoke in the forest and do not light fires, especially since it is forbidden regardless of the season! And during summer, before going for a walk, inquire about access conditions and regulations for forest areas.
