A small, wind-sheltered lake, surrounded by large boulders, its color varying throughout the day depending on the light… Ideal for a picnic! Mortice offers a splendid panorama of the Haute-Ubaye, the Val d’Escreins, the Font Sancte, Vars, and the Parpaillon Massif.

The route to the summit of Mortice is in high-mountain terrain: it is advisable to be well-trained.
