A pleasant route through the countryside, forming a loop around the Huisne river. Discover the flora and fauna of a wetland area. Enjoy a unique panoramic view of the rear of the village of Mauves-sur-Huisne and Saint-Pierre church.
Starting from a restored old wash house, you will follow the meanders of the Huisne. You will find yourself in the heart of a natural wetland area before taking the remarkable sunken path of Mortous. After crossing the Pont Catinat, built in 1610, you will reach the village – Rue de Mauves, with its rows of houses and trees.During wet periods, the nature of the terrain requires the use of boots or waterproof footwear; it is therefore best to visit during the warmer months.
