Hiking - NANS-LES-PINS - Sources de l'Huveaune

This family hike will take you from the charming streets of Nans-les-Pins to the Sources de l'Huveaune. Located in the heart of the Réserve biologique de la Sainte-Baume, this site is extremely fragile! Often dry in summer, it is best to discover them in spring or autumn.
Starting from the village, come and explore a section of the Chemin des Roys, an ancient pilgrimage route that connects Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume to the Sainte-Baume sanctuary in Plan d'Aups, passing through Nans-les-Pins. Listen carefully and let yourself be guided by the sound of the Huveaune, a remarkable coastal river that originates right here and has shaped the economic development of the region.
The beauty of this environment is the result of several millennia of formation. Inappropriate behavior can have irreversible consequences.

The bed of the Huveaune is very fragile, even when dry. Swimming and mountain biking are prohibited, as are dogs, even on a leash. Please respect the facilities and stay on the trails.

In summer, the site is highly susceptible to fire risk. Therefore, access is regulated from June 21st to September 20th. Check the access conditions for forest areas, which are updated daily on the Var prefecture's website.
