Hiking - Notre-Dame des Neiges and its oratories

The Notre-Dame des Neiges chapel stands proudly on the heights above Puy-Saint-Pierre and Prorel at an altitude of 2292m. This hike, dotted with numerous oratories, offers a remarkable panorama of Briançon and all the surrounding valleys.

The many oratories on Prorel that mark this trail are equipped with small benches, ideal for resting and enjoying the magnificent viewpoints over Briançon, the Guisane and Durance valleys, and the Cerveyrette and Orceyrette valleys.

Downhill mountain biking is prohibited in the municipality of Puy-Saint-Pierre, allowing for a peaceful hike.

During the summer season, the Prorel gondola provides direct access to Prorel, allowing you to quickly reach the Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Neiges and enjoy this hike on the descent.
