Hiking - Panère et Tourbières de Gimel - Saint-Régis du Coin No. 3

• Take the D 28 for 100m towards Tracol, then go straight up towards Le Rozet - Les Confins - Gimel.

• At Le Rozet, after the water tower, turn left. At Les Confins, turn left and follow the track (off-trail: climb to Panère's highest point to admire the orientation table and its view of the Alps).

• Continue straight ahead; at the bottom of the descent, take the left track, then turn right at the corner of the park to descend to the peat bog.

• Option to walk around the Gimel Peat Bog before turning left onto the small road up to Croix de Caille. Cross the St Sauveur road and continue into the woods on the track.

• Optional excursion to the Pierre des Trois Evêques. This stone is located at the borders of Lyonnais, Velay, and Vivarais. It is said that the three bishops of these dioceses could meet there without leaving their respective domains.

• Rejoin the Gimel road, go 100m to the right, then take the path on the left that descends to the D 28. Turn left for 50m until Scie de Gimel.

• Continue along the path that passes above the house and goes straight into the forest. At the end of a curve, you will reach a clearing with a Y-junction; take the right path that descends to the D 28.

• Cross the road, descend to Les Crozes, cross the bridge, follow the Dunerette valley, cross the La Fayolle road, cross the river before ascending back to the D 28 at the entrance to St-Régis-du-Coin. This route is shared with No. 2.
