Interpretive panels along the trail
From the Pacotière car park, head to the entrance of the village, follow the CD 32 road, then turn left alongside the church.
Cross Jean Baptiste Reymond street and walk up to the cemetery.
Continue to Crêt du Roy via a grassy path on the right, cross the road, then head up to la Sautinière on a stony path.
Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view over the Gier valley and Mont Blanc (on a clear day) before crossing through the hamlet. After the last house on the right, take the path leading to the place called La Croix.
To reach Jean Monnet street, turn left and walk alongside the Fay tennis courts. Cross over and follow the path up to la Gourdaillère.
When you get back to the road, take a path on the right, then continue straight on towards Crêt Beauplomb.
At the summit, walk down Rue du Crêt Beauplomb towards the village of St-Jean-Bonnefonds. Take the stairs opposite the entrance to the Nantas estate, then follow the path down to the Pacotière garden.
Return to the car park.
