A fantastic forest setting, perfect for any season!

This loop trail takes you right into the heart of the Sainte-Baume forest. At the foot of the mountain, you'll step into the cool, damp, and vibrant atmosphere of one of France's best-preserved forests. Come and discover the most representative tree species of this mountain's north-facing slope.

In summer, the site is at high risk of fire. As a result, access is regulated from June 21 to September 20. Check the access conditions for the forest areas, which are updated daily on the Var Prefecture's website.

A flock and livestock guardian dogs may be present along this hike: know how to react! Go around the flock as widely as possible. If the dog approaches, stop, do not make eye contact, do not wave your hiking poles, and speak to it calmly while waiting for it to identify you.
