Hiking - Pointe des Cerces

Rising to an altitude of 3098 meters, the Pointe des Cerces is the iconic summit of the Clarée valley. This challenging and technical ascent, wild at its heart amidst the Cerces massif and its lakes, offers a breathtaking 360° panorama that must be earned.

This hike is not feasible early in the season due to snow still present at high altitudes. Recommended period: July, August, September.

After leaving the GR at Col des Cerces: cairns. Only the beginning of the route to access the Pointe des Cerces is marked on the IGN map, but the rest of the trail is clearly visible.
