Walking - Savoyard Discovery Walk of the Aiguilles d'Arves

Walkers will find themselves among traditional chalets and lush alpine pastures, a favourite spot for marmots. This very easy route winds along the foot of the Aiguilles d'Arves, the majestic landmarks of the Maurienne. Featuring sound installations and objects symbolic of mountain life, this discovery trail tells the story of the shepherds, farmers, and mountaineers who shaped this landscape.

Starting from the Relais de Chalmieu car park, follow the signs for Les Chambottes. Then continue on the path to the left, towards Le Peyset. At this junction, take the trail on the right that crosses the fields, towards Le Lissolet. From here, turn right towards the Parking du Relais. At the Les Chabottes junction, the return journey follows the same route.
