Walking - RANDOLAND: Champcella

The village of Champcella seems to have always been close to a major thoroughfare: the Via Domitia. Traces of human occupation dating back to the 1st century AD have been found here!
Champcella is made up of 17 small hamlets spread across altitudes ranging from approximately 1150 to 1630 metres. Its inhabitants are known as the Champcellouires.
It is a pleasant farming village, brimming with walking trails steeped in history and legend.

Pick up the Randoland leaflet, available for purchase at the Tourist Office, to answer the riddles and spot heritage features.
To download the Randoland questionnaires, go to the Pays des Écrins Inter-municipal Tourist Office website.

Check the weather conditions before setting out.

Keep a close watch on your children, especially in non-pedestrian areas. You follow this route at your own risk. The Randoland company and the Tourist Office cannot be held responsible in the event of an accident.
