Walking - ROSANS - Tour of the Pié-Léger plateau

The short duration of this idyllic walk is in stark contrast to the wonderful change of scenery it provides, just a few kilometres from Rosans.
Winding between pine-lined trails with a Provençal feel and paths through the shady oak undergrowth, this family-friendly walk will quickly immerse you in two completely different landscapes. You'll enjoy both the coolness of the forest and the sweeping views over the village of Rosans and the Montagne du Risou. There are also many points of interest to discover along the way, including the marl geological formations.

  • RESPECT THE PEACE AND QUIET of the area where you are walking. Avoid shouting and do not use sound systems (radios, etc.), out of respect for other visitors and to avoid disturbing the local wildlife, especially during the breeding and wintering seasons when animals are much more vulnerable.

  • Avoid picking wild plants: some of them are protected species.

  • FIRE RISK. Fire is the enemy of the forest… and the hiker! Do not smoke or light fires in the forest, as it is forbidden year-round! And during the summer, before you set off, check the access conditions and regulations for forested areas.
