Hiking - SAINT-JURS - The Agra Summit
A beautiful hike from the picturesque village of Saint-Jurs to the summit of Agra and its breathtaking view over the Valensole plateau.
From the summit of Agra (1,523 m), the view is panoramic. Thanks to the orientation table, you can identify the main peaks, spot the cardinal directions, and learn the names of the winds based on their direction. In early summer, seen from above, the mix of wheat and lavandin fields makes the Valensole plateau look like a real patchwork.
Set off early in summer to avoid the intense heat. Bring 2L of water, a hat, and hiking boots. In summer, the forest area is sometimes closed due to fire risk (see Learn More).
