Hiking - SAINT-LAURENT-DU-VERDON - Artignosc Lake
An ideal route for discovering the lower gorges and the lakes of Saint Laurent and Montpezat...
"It's one of my favourite walks. When mist covers Saint Laurent lake in the early morning, and I watch the grey heron take flight, the osprey in action, the great crested grebe diving for food, the gulls by the cliffs in summer, or the very chatty and noisy jay with its different calls and songs in winter, it's always a nature hike in any season, a delight for the eyes and ears." Stefano Blanc, Eco-ranger at the Verdon Regional Natural Park.
- Rocky trail: hiking boots recommended.
- In summer, avoid the intense heat by setting off as early as possible and bring 2 L of water per person (no water is available along the way).
