Hiking - SÉDERON - Costadret Ridges - la Tour

A short loop near Séderon that immerses you in a landscape shaped by pastoralism and traditional agriculture.
A pastoral atmosphere among small plots of grain and lavender, the coolness of a forest, and a ridgeline trail. These are the promises of this short hike, which offers a change of scenery while remaining close to Séderon. After a few kilometres of walking, you will enjoy views over the pastures and the Buc mountain before heading back down to the village, passing by Notre-Dame-La-Brune to admire Séderon from above.

  • Between points 5 and 6: the descent can be a little steep at times.

  • RESPECT THE PEACE AND QUIET of the area. Avoid shouting and do not use sound-producing devices (radios, etc.), out of respect for other users and for the tranquility of the wildlife, especially during breeding and wintering periods when animals are much more vulnerable.

  • Avoid picking wild plants: some of them are protected species.

  • Part of the route is very exposed to the sun, so bring the necessary equipment (water, hat, sunscreen, etc.) on hot summer days. It is best to start early in the morning to avoid the hottest part of the day.
