Hiking - Bourget Marsh Interpretive Trail
This interpretive trail allows you to discover, via two distinct loops, one of the most beautiful high-altitude marshes in the region, the largest peatland area in the Briançonnais, and the traditional agricultural practices that have shaped this exceptional landscape.
Located at the foot of the Chenaillet Massif, the Bourget Marsh is one of the largest peatland complexes in the Briançonnais, and beyond, in the Southern Alps. It boasts exceptional biodiversity.
This interpretive trail consists of two loops: the La Chau Loop (45 min) and the Bourget Loop (1h15), both connected by the Chemin de l'Aigalans, which overlooks the marsh.
This itinéraire crosses the Natura 2000 site Rochebrune - Izoard - Vallée de la Cerveyrette.
