Hiking - SOLLIES-TOUCAS - The Grand Cap Loop

A Mediterranean oak forest, 360° views from the Alps to the sea, and karstic landscapes are all on the agenda for this hike in the heart of the Morières-Montrieux national forest.
Set off to discover the Morières-Montrieux forest and keep your eyes peeled! After a beautiful ascent through this oak forest, you'll reach an immense limestone pavement and its Cassini pyramid at the summit. The view over the Îles d'Or is worth the trip alone.
This is a mountain trail subject to weather hazards, with areas of slippery rock that should be avoided in case of rain, wind, and/or fog.

The V40 forest road connecting the towns of Solliès-Toucas and Signes is closed to traffic between June 15 and September 20. The trailhead can therefore not be reached by car during this period.

In summer, the area is at high risk of fire. As a result, access is restricted throughout the summer period. Check the access conditions for the forest massifs, which are updated daily on the websites of both the Var and the Bouches-du-Rhône prefectures (the route passes through both of these départements).
