Hiking - ST-LEGER-DU-VENTOUX - Geological and Historical Heritage
Geological and historical heritage trail of the Toulourenc valley.
“This route works your legs as much as your mind. The 350m elevation gain makes for a challenging walk and offers beautiful viewpoints. You'll learn a lot about the valley thanks to the information panels along the route.” An anonymous hiker
- HUNTING: during hunting season, wear brightly coloured clothing, make your presence known, and respect any signs put up by hunters.
- PASTORAL AREA: if you encounter livestock guardian dogs, do not pet or threaten them. Stop, wait patiently for them to "check you out", then calmly resume your walk, giving the flock as wide a berth as possible. It's best not to bring your dog; if you do, keep it on a tight leash. As a reminder, review the best practices for encounters with livestock guardian dogs.
- FIRE RISK: fire is the enemy of the forest... and the hiker! Do not smoke or light fires in the forest; it is forbidden year-round! And during the summer, before setting out, check the access conditions and regulations for forested areas.
