Walking - Thiers, medieval city

A stroll through the upper town and to the banks of the Durolle. Half-timbered houses, private mansions, and factory remnants give an insight into the heart of this city, which from the 15th century onwards owed its prosperity to the manufacture and trade of metal goods, chief among which, of course, were knives!
