Hiking - 3-day Tour of Signal de La Grave

A three-day trek through alpine pastures, hamlets, and lakes. It is the Hautes-Alpes variant of the Tour des Aiguilles d'Arves.
A short trek, ideal for discovering the hamlets around the village of La Grave. Various viewpoints of the surrounding peaks also add to the richness of this route, traversing the alpine pastures of the Vallon de la Buffe, the Combe de Martignare, and around Lac du Goléon.
This trek begins gently with an easy first stage in the Vallon de la Buffe. It's an opportunity to notably discover the hamlet of Le Chazelet and its oratory, offering breathtaking views of the Alps and the Massif de la Meije.
After a night at the Refuge du Pic du Mas de la Grave, the route continues towards the Refuge du Goléon. The route traverses the Combe de Martignare then leads to the Signal de la Grave, culminating at 2445m. The arrival at Lac du Goléon and its refuge is the final reward of this long stage.
The final day begins in the alpine pastures to reach Lac du Pontet. The route then passes through the village of Villar d'Arêne and reaches the banks of the Romanche, which you'll follow to La Grave, the final destination of this trek.
